SENIOR COUNSEL, Major Technology Company (Exclusive) – Silicon Valley, California
Our client, a highly innovative company producing globally-known consumer technology products, has exclusively asked us to help them identify an accomplished technology attorney who will be at home working with cutting-edge multimedia products. This Senior Counsel will work with an interdisciplinary team of business, operational, engineering, marketing and other professionals to conceive, design, market and implement easy-to-use, highly integrated consumer products.
Competitive candidates for this position must be graduates of top-tier law schools in good standing with the bar, must have originally trained at a well-regarded law firm, and must possess at least 6 years of relevant legal experience in the technology & commercial transactions area. Prior in-house experience would be useful, particularly prior consumer electronics industry experience. Strong candidates should have experience with at least some of the following: complex deal negotiations; hardware & software product development; operational and manufacturing issues related to technology products; wireless services and regulation; and/or international technology/product law. Prior studies in engineering or computer science would be helpful (but are not required).
