The Partners Group in Charlotte is helping our close AmLaw 100 client identify a mid-level Employee Benefits Associate for a position in their growing Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation department.  Between 4 and 6 years of large-firm or dedicated boutique training is required in the design and administration of tax-qualified retirement plans such as 401(k), profit sharing, traditional pension and cash balance plans; welfare benefit plans (including ACA, ERISA, COBRA and HIPAA compliance); and nonqualified deferred compensation and plans.  Of particular importance is a high level of aptitude in qualified retirement pans and health & welfare plans.  The firm takes a holistic approach to the practice of law and seeks to foster well-rounded lawyers who are good at what they do and who are happy and fulfilled.  Personality and ‘soft’ client skills are very important, as the expectation is that the hired lawyer will develop a client base of his or her own and grow into partnership with the firm.  Top academic and professional pedigree required for consideration.  All candidates must be licensed and in good standing in any U.S. jurisdiction, as well as either barred in the state of prospective employment, able to waive in, or willing to sit for the next available bar exam.  Compensation is at the top of the market and includes a generous and realistically attainable bonus component.  Relocation candidates are welcome to apply.  This is an excellent opportunity to work at a top firm in one of the fastest growing cities in the country.  Position can be housed in either Charlotte (ideal), Seattle, or Pittsburgh.  For more information contact
