Shannan is a Vice President at The Partners Group, where she leads attorney recruitment for lateral hires and in-house counsel placements across law firms and corporations nationwide. In addition to her recruitment expertise, she spearheads business development and client relationship strategy for the firm’s permanent recruiting division and serves as a co-leader of the broader legal recruiting team.
With over 15 years of experience in legal search and placement, Shannan has successfully matched hundreds of attorneys with top-tier law firms and Fortune 500 companies. She brings a deep understanding of the legal market and is passionate about helping professionals find fulfilling career paths while guiding clients to attract and retain top legal talent.
Shannan earned her Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and History, cum laude, from Colgate University. She also studied comparative and international law at University College London and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in yoga studies at Loyola Marymount University, with a focus on yoga philosophy and yoga therapy.
Before joining The Partners Group, Shannan served as a Legal Recruiting Manager at a leading national search firm and as Director of Business Development at a boutique legal recruiting agency. Earlier in her career, she practiced business litigation and employment law in Atlanta.
A world traveler who has visited over 90 countries, Shannan is equally at home on a dive boat as she is on a yoga mat. Her hobbies include Pilates, scuba diving, reading true crime and suspense novels, and staying plugged into all things pop culture. She lives with her partner, their teenager (a high school senior), and two delightfully spoiled cats, Maya and Meena—proving you can love cats without being a cliché!
