Cheryl is responsible for client development and the selection and assignment of attorneys to fill contract positions nationally. Before entering the legal recruiting field, Cheryl worked as a commercial and employment litigator with Smith Gambrell & Russell, as well as the General Counsel of a small in-house legal department. This legal background – and over 16 years of staffing and managing projects at the highest level for firms of all sizes and Fortune 500 companies – provides Cheryl the perspective to help clients arrive at the best staffing solution, be it placing an experienced substantive attorney or staffing/managing a large document review project. Cheryl was part of the original team that founded the company in 1999. 

Cheryl graduated from Duke Law School with High Honors and also holds a B.S. in Business Administration with Distinction and with Honors from UNC at Chapel Hill. In her spare time, Cheryl can be found boating with her husband or chasing her toddler and small dog around her yard. Her interests include playing softball and tennis until her knees give out, taking long solitary walks to regain her sanity, and biking as often as possible.
