Emmett M. Hogan serves as the foreign language services coordinator at Legalpeople; he joined Legalpeople after two and a half years serving the same role at Plante Moran ProjecTemps. Emmett oversees legal review services that require foreign language expertise, including Foreign Corrupt Practices Act investigations and international dispute resolution. With a background in commercial litigation and international arbitration, Emmett has extensive experience in large-scale discovery and is particularly attuned to the challenges and issues that arise in a multinational and multilingual context.
Born in Ireland, Emmett grew up on the northwest side of Chicago, and attended public schools in the city. He graduated with honors from Dartmouth College in 2001, with a B.A. in history and minors in both international relations and French literature. He graduated with honors from the University of Michigan Law School in 2007; while in law school, he served as a contributing editor to the Michigan Journal of International Law.
