Our client, a large provider of professional liability insurance, has exclusively engaged us to identify a highly qualified appellate attorney to join their in-house defense firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying issues and formulating appellate strategy, brief writing, and oral arguments for both in-house and outside counsel.  Additionally, the hire will be responsible for assisting the trial team at trial to identify and preserve error.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of litigation and trial experience (experience with medical malpractice matters is a huge plus) along with specific appellate experience before the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Georgia Supreme Court.
