Our client, one of the largest school systems in the country (and the largest in the state of Tennessee), is seeking to hire an attorney with 3+ years of labor and employment expertise who will report directly to the General Counsel for the school system.     The hired attorney will be responsible for ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, working with HR in connection with employment matters (discipline, termination, wage and hour, discrimination), reviewing and improving upon the school system’s employment policies, responding to state and federal employment claims (including EEOC and DOL charges), and managing employment litigation matters.  Candidates coming from either private practice or an in-house environment are encouraged to apply.  Relocation candidates are welcome to apply, particularly those with ties to Tennessee.  For consideration, please submit your resume to jobs@partners-group.com  (for a full listing of our open positions, please visit http://www.partners-group.com/current-opportunities).
