Our client, a growing publicly traded company, has engaged us to find its first Director of Global Privacy & Security. Ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience advising on data privacy laws and regulations, including HIPAA/HITECH, APAC, AND EMEA. Hired attorney will have various responsibilities including developing and maintaining the company’s policies and procedures related to global privacy, providing legal advice on emerging technologies including AI/ML, negotiating data license and use agreements, advising on incident responses, and assisting with new product launches. Candidates should possess outstanding communication skills and excellent academic credentials. Strong preference for candidates with experience in health care, pharmaceutical, or medical device space as well as AI/ML.
