We are assisting a NYSE listed publicly-traded professional services firm seeking an Assistant General Counsel-Employment. The Assistant General Counsel, Employment Law will provide executive leadership, strategy, and legal representation relating to the company’s employment law in the Americas. The AGC will collaborate closely with legal team colleagues and key business leaders throughout the company, advising on legal risks, business strategies and other issues related to employment law. He/she will be responsible for providing advice and solutions to HR and executive management on all aspects of labor, employment, immigration, and HR-related law, including discrimination and harassment prevention, EEO, workplace training, investigations, immigration, litigation oversight, diversity & inclusion, threat assessment, and wage & hour law compliance. Ideal candidates have a minimum of 15+ years of progressively more responsible experience in employment, including both law firm and public company in-house experience and a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a senior legal leadership and strategy role influencing senior management and critical stakeholders.
