Our client, a large, privately-owned healthcare company, has engaged us to find an Assistant General Counsel for their headquarters located outside of Chicago.   Candidates must have 4+ years of healthcare experience, specifically expertise with litigation, contracts, and general corporate and business operations.   The ideal candidate will have experience with healthcare regulatory/administrative matters, insurance, and employment issues.  

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), along with an exceptional business acumen, and a team-oriented approach are critical for success in this position.  Candidates coming from private practice or from in-house will be considered.  The hired attorney will be expected to work in-office M-F. Local candidates are strongly preferred and must be licensed to practice in Illinois.
