Our client, a standalone, full-service, Chambers-ranked firm widely considered the top business firm in North Carolina, has asked for our assistance in identifying a mid to senior-level Data Privacy & Security Associate or Junior Partner to work one-on-one with the Chair of the firm’s Data Privacy & Security Department.  The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of direct, on-point experience in a large law firm or dedicated boutique setting and will be able to work independently.  The focus of work will be on data privacy and security programs, HIPAA compliance, data breaches and governmental privacy-related investigations, technology licensing and transfer, contracts involving data flows and the related legal risks and obligations, intellectual property and information technology, and conducting internal investigations related to corporate compliance, specifically as they relate to the Healthcare and Tech sectors.  The firm itself is highly unique and selective, has no billable hour requirement beyond third year, and places a high value on the balance between work and home life.  They welcome unique individuals with hobbies and interests outside of the office, and they strive to build a diverse and highly eclectic roster.  Compensation is highly competitive, and the firm has a long history of attracting and retaining lawyers from larger regional and national/international firms.  Exceptional academic & professional credentials required for consideration.  JD from a top law school required, as is NC bar, ability to waive in, or willingness sit for the next available bar exam.  For consideration, please submit your resume confidentially to jobs@partners-group.com.  (For a full listing of our job posts, please visit us at http://www.partners-group.com/current-opportunities).
