Our client, one of the top regional firms in the Carolinas, has asked for our assistance in identifying an experienced Benefits Lawyer for its growing Charlotte office (exceptional class-A space in the upper floors of the Wells Fargo building). Viable candidates can be anyone from Associate to Counsel to Partner. At least 5 years of large-firm or dedicated boutique experience in all areas of Benefits Law required, including expertise in ERISA, COBRA, applicable tax codes, welfare and fringe benefits, executive compensation, ESOP work, and retirement plans. Work-on-the-shelf does exist for interested partner-level candidates, though portable business is of course welcomed. Relocation candidates welcomed, and assistance provided. NC bar membership, ability to waive in, or willingness to sit for the next available bar exam required. Associate hours only 1,650.
