Our client, a full service top AmLaw 100 client is seeking an associate to join its Corporate and Private Equity Department. This team focuses on all types of private equity transactions including leveraged buyouts, independent sponsor transactions, and junior capital investments among others. Candidates should have 3+ years of experience representing private fund sponsors and institutional investors on a variety of complex fund formation matters in a sophisticated law firm setting. Applicants should also experience with drafting agreements in the private investment fund context and solid experience with the Advisers’ Act and related issues applicable to fund managers. Experience in litigation adjacent roles in life sciences and servicing clients in the life science space is a plus. In addition to relevant experience, candidates should have strong academic credentials and advocacy skills, and must be licensed to practice in the U.S. Great upside- competitive compensation and benefits, hybrid/flexible work, and mentorship focus.
