Law FirmCharlotte, North Carolina

Our client, one of the top regional firms in the Carolinas, has asked for our assistance in identifying an experienced transactional Healthcare Lawyer to assume a key leadership position in the very near future.  Current Chair of Healthcare Group has held position for over a decade and would like to hand it off in order to focus more on practicing.  Current healthcare practice is well-established and very broad, with several blue-chip clients serviced over a wide range of disciplines.  Modest portable book of business sought for consideration.  Ideal find is a lawyer who can keep him or herself busy two thirds of the time, perhaps less if the ‘right’ candidate is on the upswing in his or her career and possesses top client-service skills.  Outstanding opportunity for a Senior Associate or Junior Partner facing either conflicts or advancement potential to step into a prime leadership role in the very near future, or for a seasoned Healthcare Lawyer from a smaller firm which may be outgrowing its infrastructure.  Will need at least 10 years of on-point experience in transactional healthcare law, ideally involving M&A and general corporate work on behalf of medical systems, physicians, or professional healthcare associations.  Firm has a strong list of current clients which can be mined for work.  Compensation is DOE and will initially include a base and bonus component.  Relocation candidates welcomed, and assistance provided.  NC bar membership, ability to waive in, or willingness to sit for the next available bar exam required.  For consideration please submit your resume to carolinajobs@partners-group.com  (for a full listing of our open positions, please visit http://www.partners-group.com/current-opportunities).
