The Insurance Regulatory and Transactional Group of our client, a global AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking an associate with 5+ years of Regulatory and Transactional experience. The associate will work with partners in multiple offices on a wide range of insurance regulatory matters across all lines of insurance and will work closely with insurance companies, brokers, agents, and tech companies from around the world. The ideal candidate would have specific insurance industry regulatory and transactional experience, including transactional drafting, reinsurance renegotiation, and regulatory research skills. The position will also involving M&A, private equity transactions related to the insurance industry. Essential functions include research insurance laws, draft memoranda, draft transaction agreements, manage transaction closings and processes, and communication with clients.  with private equity transactions is preferred. The candidate must be admitted to the bar in Illinois. The position offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience + a bonus program.
