Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a Patent Agent or Patent Attorney with at least 2 years of experience to support their patent prosecution practice. This is a non-partner track position. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience and can be based out of Houston, Philadelphia, or Washington, D.C. Successful candidates will possess a bachelor’s or graduate degree and have experience drafting patent applications with a specialization in electronics, semi-conductors, circuitry, optics, and lasers. Responsibilities also include drafting scientific and technical patent applications clearly and concisely, conducting technical research using available resources in support of various patent-related matters. Candidates must be registered to practice in front of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and if appropriate, licensed to practice law in their respective state.
