Our close client, a top Texas-based firm, has an immediate opening for a Real Estate Associate to join their Zoning & Land Use subgroup in their Dallas office. The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of commercial real estate transactions experience, particularly with real estate developments. This is a growth position with a clear path toward advancement in the firm. The firm assists developers and landowners to analyze and strategically navigate the platting, subdivision, infrastructure development, and building permit process by creatively leveraging the protections of state and local laws to minimize costs and avoid impediments to development. This may include the formation of public/private partnerships, securing entitlements and obtaining favorable zoning through drafting complex regulations, and representation in community negotiations and public hearings. This position is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer to obtain a unique skill set in an expanding area with a sophisticated client base. While experience in land use or zoning is not required, candidates must want to or be open to focusing on this area of law. State Bar of Texas licensure is preferred, but firm will consider relocation candidates with significant Texas ties. Strong salary and benefits offered.
