Our client,one of the world’s leading medical device companies, is seeking to hire a Senior Corporate Counsel to support their growing legal team in either their Atlanta, GA headquarters or Austin, TX office. Qualified candidates will have 3-6 years relevant legal experience including significant time with an AmLaw 100 firm and strong experience with contracting. This position will work extensively with many functions and areas of the Company in an effort to understand both business goals and corporate risk, and to implement business solutions. As the Company rapidly expands into international markets, these areas may include providing worldwide support for complex litigation, human resources, business development, subsidiary management, the corporate secretary function, and compliance. This position will also be responsible for supporting the overall pipeline of contracts for the Company and its US and international subsidiaries, including: drafting templates; drafting, reviewing, and negotiating corporate contracts; managing the contracting process; and determining contract priority and staffing. The successful candidate will be expected to approach his or her work with a customer-focus and a results-driven attitude. The Legal Department works as a unified whole, and attorneys, paralegals, and support staff are often called upon to complete work outside of their immediate areas of responsibility, which enables the team to provide exceptional service to internal clients.
