Shannan is a Vice President at The Partners Group where she is responsible for the recruitment of lateral attorneys and in-house counsels in law firms and corporations. In her capacity within the organization, she heads up business development and client relations for the permanent recruiting division and is a co-leader for the team at large.
With over 15 years of experience in the legal search and recruiting industry, Shannan has successfully placed hundreds of lateral attorneys and in-house counsels with many of the nation’s most respected law firms and Fortune 500 corporations. She is passionate about helping legal professionals find their ideal career paths and helping law firms and corporations attract exceptional legal talent.
Shannan holds her JD from Emory University School of Law and her BA in Sociology and History, cum laude, from Colgate University. During law school, Shannan studied comparative and international law at the University College of London. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Yoga Studies from Loyola Marymount University where she is studying yoga philosophy and yoga therapy.
Prior to joining The Partners Group, Shannan was a Legal Recruiting Manager for a top national legal recruiting firm and a Director of Business Development for a boutique legal recruiting firm based in Atlanta. Before transitioning to recruiting, she practiced business litigation and employment law in Atlanta.
In her spare time, Shannan enjoys practicing Pilates and yoga, international travel (90+ countries and counting), scuba diving, reading (true-crime, mysteries, and suspense novels), all things pop-culture related, and spending time with her partner, their “angsty” teen, and two insanely spoiled cats (Maya and Meena). This is not your average crazy cat lady!
